Kunstendag voor Kinderen op 19/11 - kopie

A new edition of Kunstendag voor Kinderen (Art Day for Children) will take place on Sunday 19 November. All over Flanders and Brussels, arty activities on a children's scale will take place within the theme of masterpieces. At the Roger Raveel Museum, we will therefore zoom in on Raveel's masterpiece 'Gele man met karretje'. With a creative workshop where word and image merrily intermingle, Dirk Vander Beken (museum guide and drama & creative writing teacher) takes children aged 9 to 12 into this colourful world.

What is the yellow man in the painting thinking? Is he making up verses? Is he standing in solitary silence? Is he complaining about that prison suit? Is he cosily talking to someone outside the painting? What is he actually doing? What is that cart for: is he transporting heaven with it? Shall we give him a hand?
